If only I could turn into a were-panther...

Started my day off work in bed with Charlaine Harris's Dead as a Doornail, it's the fifth in the Sookie Stackhouse series which I was lured into by the brilliant True Blood TV show. So between now and the summer when more True Blood will be airing I have plenty of time to read the next 3 (maybe 4 as the latest one is published in May) books. It's not too taxing on the brain cells, yet entertaining, and although I'm disappointed the only lesbian character turns up as a corpse (way to go getting my hopes up), I'm happy that the series has helped me get back into reading.

I loved the quirkiness of The Middleman so much that I was delighted to discover (well, I read on a forum...) that there are Middleman comics! I must read them!

Astro Fighter Sunred reminds me why I love sci-fi/fantasy anime, as a stuffed rabbit evil toy tries again to kill the hero Red. I love how all the evil characters are doomed to failure, humanized in real world (well real-ish) situations. Red is just too strong!

My Hero... is a stuffed bunny!

I want to see some more space fighting action in Tytania... and more scenes like this:

It's embarrassing that I'm watching Legend of The Seeker, isn't it? But it's ok...because the fact that I know it's utterly awful is what makes it sooo good.

I was surprised that there is an Open Season 2, while still not as awesome as Hoodwinked, it goes to show that it sucks to be a rabbit in The Wild...or a porcupine! Buuuuudddddddy!!

Oh super-killer-squee, OAV anime G-9 has been finally fansubbed!! I so wanted to see this 2 years ago, thank you thank you thank you...even if it's bad at least now I know, the trailer looked so unusual!

Oh, and, the reason to be excited about January 2009! Another Underworld movie...well...it's got to be better than the last one? Look's quite dark and sexy, mmm! :)

for the love of SCI-FI

Watching the third yawnworthy Mummy 3 film I just wish that I too could speak yeti.

Really want a Terminator T-Shirt, but when they say 'small' do they mean 'man small' or, 'yes we realise you are a girl and don't want to wear a nightie small'. :/

The aliens moment in Loaf and Death was so cool I think I made loud girly squealing noises. Must rewatch all the Alien movies in '09.

I hope The Spirit is a good movie to start off the new year.

Oh god not another twilight movie, I'm already putting off seeing the first one, which i have to do, in order the fuel the rants of what teenage drivel fodder it is...

I wonder how many masochistic people will buy a stargate atlantis 2009 calendar and stare longingly at the pictures and wish it hadn't finished...or had been given a few more series so they might actually have bothered with an overlying plot?!

Just subjected myself to the X Files movie... 2 let downs in the same day, although I would like to see a frankensquirrel now, with little stitches where it has had it's new head attached. I want to believe? I just wanted them to get on with it.

I'm completely out of touch with the world of sci-fi, fantasy, cyberpunk books *giggles excitedly* so i guess I'll be up to the early hours of the morning with my nose in a tree of words... I feel excited about discovery, inspiration and motivation for my own comics and stories, I want everything I'm passionate about to fall together and form a whole!

Terminator Salvation better be better than T3, with a better soundtrack, I need to feel creeped out at the prospect of robots disguised as humans or this film will be dead to me!

2012, it's the end of the world *yay!* I hope it's beautifully dramatic, John Cusack better be good!

I only want to play Ghostbusters the game if I can be a female ghostbuster that kicks ass.

Not MORE The Decent, noooooooo! Oh the urge to bash my rolled up poster over people's heads as if it was a bone, after the last film, not again! The ended was soooo bad as well!!

I'm enjoying listening to Working For A Nuclear Free City, Rocket, the video has cute little astronauts in it! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=x_573IIv81A

Lesbian Vampire Killers *does a double take at the title*. Does that mean someone has made a film especially for meeeee? Watched the trailer, I'd say no then, looks like another flick for teenage fodder, but hey, that's ok, I need things to make me giggle.
